I launched the Tart It Up! brand in 2012 because I wanted to produce a small range of tangy, savoury sauces for everyday use. My first product was a Damson Sauce followed closely by my “limited edition” Blood Orange Sauce.
Damson Sauce the only Damson Sauce on the market, is made to my secret recipe with 100% natural ingredients; English damsons, Bramley apples and spices – additive and colouring free. It is made by hand in my kitchen, using the traditional “open pan” method.
Damson Sauce is designed to complement savoury foods, particularly meat and game, duck, venison and pies. It’s excellent in marinades or as an ingredient in stews and casseroles – or you can enjoy it on its own as a dip.
My Blood Orange Sauce is a full-bodied, bright, citrusy sauce with a hint of chilli. It’s outstanding flavour has been proving very popular with customers and is offered as a limited edition product. It works especially well with grilled or baked fish and mixed with olive oil or mayonnaise to make a delicious salad dressing.
sauces do not contain any animal products so are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
